The Casio CMD-40 is a legendary vintage "Wrist Remote Controller" calculator watch originally released by Casio in late 1992.

Powered by the Casio Module 1174, it became an instant 90s pop-culture icon due to its ability to control TVs, VCRs, and cable boxes directly from the wearer's wrist.

It was famously used by students to prank teachers by subtly turning off classroom televisions.

Production ran for over a decade until around 2005–2006, making it the most successful remote control watch ever made.
