Powered by Casio’s Module 502, it represents the absolute dawn of wearable data storage technology, marketed heavily during the mid-1980s as the ultimate tool to replace your physical pocket notebook.
Because it was manufactured in Japan with a lightweight black resin case and a relatively fragile mineral crystal, finding surviving examples today—especially with unblemished screens or intact original resin straps—is a massive triumph for retro-tech collectors.

The DB-20W was part of the pioneering generation of Casio's wrist computers, rolling out several advanced memory features before the calculator-keypad models entirely dominated the market.
- Telememo 20 / Teledate: The standout feature. Onboard EEPROM memory allowed users to store up to 20 sets of names and telephone numbers or short notes right on the wrist, effectively making it a primitive PDA.
