The Casio DBC-60 is a legendary, highly collectible vintage digital watch first released by Casio in 1985.

Powered by the iconic Module 563, it holds a significant place in horological history as Casio's first-ever Data Bank calculator watch.

It combined cutting-edge "wrist computer" engineering with a distinctive resin case and membrane keyboard layout.

Core Features & Specifications

Designed primarily for business users in the mid-1980s, the DBC-60 was praised for packing massive utility into a slim profile:
  • Telememo Function: Stored up to 50 phone number entries combining 5 letters and 12 numbers with an auto-sort feature.
  • Schedule Function: Tracked up to 50 calendar items, utilizing a unique two-week graphical calendar interface on the screen that flashed to signify busy slots.
  • 8-Digit Calculator: Integrated a front-facing membrane keypad allowing direct mathematical inputs.
  • Additional Suite: Packed a 1/100-second stopwatch, daily alarm, hourly time signal, dual time, and 12/24-hour timekeeping formats. (Note: Unlike later iterations, the original DBC-60 does not feature a countdown timer)
