🌙 Core Astronomical Features

The GMW-15 allows users to input their specific time zone, latitude, and longitude to accurately track and map lunar data:
  • Moon Phase Tracking: A prominent, graphic-heavy layout displays the exact current phase and lighted area of the moon as it orbits Earth.
  • Moon Hour Angles: Calculates four daily moon hour angles to pinpoint exactly where the moon is positioned across the night sky.
  • Sunrise & Sunset Mode: Displays highly accurate local sunrise and sunset times based on geographic coordinates.
  • Temporal Constraint: The internal tracking calendar is mathematically accurate up until the year 2029
⚡ Standard Functions & Easter Eggs
  • Timekeeping: Displays day, date, and time alongside the active moon phase graph.
  • Stopwatch & Alarm: Includes a 1/100th-of-a-second chronograph and a daily alarm with an hourly chime.
  • Hidden Animation: When the hourly chime triggers, a small shooting star / meteor animation flashes across the negative screen display.
