The Casio H110 Marlin (utilising Module 106) with an orange case is one of the rarest variations of this vintage 1980s digital watch.
While the vintage Casio Marlin line is legendary among retro collectors for its iconic fish emblem printed on the dial, most people are familiar with the stainless steel models (like the H101) or the standard black resin variants.
According to vintage Casio collectors and catalogue archives, the H110 resin-case Marlin was actually produced in a few specific colour variations:
- Black: Medium rare
- Grey: Rare
- Orange / Yellow: Super rare
- Blue: Ultra rare
Because the orange-cased H110 is a collector's "holy grail" item, finding one today in good condition is incredibly difficult, as resin from the 1980s is prone to severe fading, cracking, or "resin rot" over the decades.
Condition & Specifications:
- Model / Module: Casio H110 / Module 106 (Classic multi-alarm, chronograph, and timer functionality).
- Origin Stamp: Engraved "Japan H" on the stainless steel case back, verifying original 1980s Japanese factory production.
- Case Shroud: In exceptional condition for its age. The orange resin is structurally sound with sharp corners, clean geometry, and crisp text detailing. No signs of "resin rot" or hairline fractures near the lug entries.
- Crystal & Dial: The dial graphics, text, and the iconic gold Marlin emblem are sharp and completely unfaded. The crystal shows minimal superficial hairline wear consistent with careful handling but no distracting deep scratches.
- LCD Panel: Pristine digital segments with robust contrast. No sun fading, bleeding, or polarization degradation.
- Functions: Fully operational. All side buttons press smoothly and cycle through functions properly.
- Strap Note: Please note that the black resin strap currently attached is a high-quality aftermarket replacement. The watch head itself is 100% original.
